You’ve probably been lied to in your life.  In fact, you’ve probably told a few lies yourself.  While some lies are harmless, or might even be told to protect you, others can be devastating.  Imagine if your boyfriend was cheating on you with another woman, or your co-worker was lying to you about stealing your money.  These lies can destroy relationships and the trust you have in people.  But what if you had a way of knowing if someone was lying to you?  There are common signs that people give off when they lie, and with some practice, you can be able to detect them. While these signs are not 100-percent foolproof, they can give you an idea of whether someone is being truthful or dishonest, and deserving of further investigation.

Life is full of little annoyances and sometimes bigger mishaps that we all deal with.  From starting a small kitchen fire to getting lost in the woods, these situations are unpredictable and leave us wondering what to do.  Here at Advice for Your Life, we will be starting a new series on things that everyone should know, from how to change a tire to how to put out a small kitchen fire, so that you will be prepared in these situations that life throws your way.

The first article in this series is how to change a flat tire.  This is something everyone should know how to do in case you are ever stuck in the middle of nowhere, and have no access to a telephone to call for help. I’ve had to change many flat tires in my day, and I am pretty petite, so if I can do it, anyone can.  It is a lot easier to do than you think, and will save you a whole bunch of money and time waiting around for a tow truck.

I recommend practicing changing your car’s tires at home so that when it actually happens one day, you will be prepared and know exactly what to do because you have already done it before.
